rtorrent software package provides ncurses BitTorrent client based on LibTorrent from rakshasa, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install rtorrent
rtorrent is installed in your system.
Make ensure the rtorrent package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep rtorrent *
You will get with rtorrent package name, version, architecture and description in a table
